As a senior photographer in Alexandria, VA and Fort Washington, Maryland, I absolutely love capturing the personality and confidence of high school seniors throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a beautiful teen portrait session in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia, and it was such a fun and memorable experience.

The urban setting near the Crystal City train station gave us the perfect modern backdrop for photos — full of bold lines, city energy, and great textures. My teen chose a casual outfit that really reflected her unique style and personality, which helped the images feel natural and authentic.

One of the ways I help my clients prepare for their session is by providing a “What to Wear Guide” with tips and inspiration for outfits that photograph beautifully.
