WHAT MAKES ME DIFFERENT?

I'm a Mom who's a family, senior, & lifestyle photographer serving Fort Washington, Maryland, Alexandria, Arlington, Virginia, Prince Georges County, Washington DC and the surrounding DMV area. I'm psyched about giving my clients a memorable experience. As a photographer, I'd describe myself as being fun, laidback, joyful, creative, intentional and professional. I want you to be comfortable. Because if you're having a good time, that will come across in the pictures we create and produce. In terms of my style, I would describe my style as CLEAN, AUTHENTIC, CHEERFUL, ELEVATED ELEGANT SIMPLICITY. And by the way, I love black and white photos and I often deliver b&w images to my clients. I love their simple beauty. I hope you'll share or at least discover a love for black and white images as well.

The following are examples of words I use to describe the images I create and produce: TRUE TO COLOR, TRUE TO LIFE, VIBRANT, REAL, WARM, POSITIVE ENERGY. That means I try to keep things fun, heartfelt, beautiful and real. Finally, what do I love doing to enhance your experience? Let me count the ways:

*UNIQUE LOCATIONS. I curate outdoor locations for your photo session that will bring out the best in you because as a natural light photographer I believe an outdoor setting and natural light is vibrant, brings character and depth to your session, and uniquely captures you. I also do studio sessions. We can discuss your vision for your session and see what works.

*PORTRAIT SESSION PREP. I do pre session consultations where we discuss your thoughts and visions for your session. Senior year is stressful. You don't need to have the added stress of figuring out what's what with your senior session. For my seniors, family, and portrait sessions, I do consultations with clients and I pride myself in providing solid client relations. I send you a detailed questionnaire with the objective of helping to get info on who you are and feedback on designing a photo session that clearly reflects you.

*PREP MATERIALS. I provide detailed information packets to provide information on preparing for your session. From information on what to wear and styling for your session to information on the process for receiving your images, I try to give you insight and anticipate your questions in the prep info I send to you. My objective is to make you feel comfortable and enjoy the photo session experience.

*KEEPING IT REAL AND PERSONALITY FOCUSED PHOTOS. Have concerns about not wanting to look unnatural or overly retouched images. No problem. It shouldn’t be an issue because I believe in keeping it real, authentic, and celebrating our natural self. The result...images that you'll

absolutely love but still feel like yourself. Your photos are going to showcase who you are.

*QUESTIONS AND CONVERSATION. I want people to feel good and I ask questions to learn more about you and your uniqueness. I hope to make a connection to make you feel comfortable. My caring attitude gives an extra level of care and when we're there taking photos it definitely helps to get that positivity element going during a session. If there's a shell that you might need to break out of I'm there to gently and seamlessly work with you.
