Meet the Owner and CEO

My name is Sonia Greenaway Mickle, and I'm the proud owner, and yes, also the "CEO" of Beautiful Awesome Moments. Based in Fort Washington, Maryland, I serve families and individuals in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC areas. My passion lies in capturing those special, important occasions that mean the world to you.

The Art of Celebrating Life

While I offer a variety of photography services such as senior, portrait, and family photography, what truly drives me is the joy of celebrating these milestones. One of the niches that I absolutely love is senior photography. This genre holds a special place in my heart because it aligns so well with my current stage in life. I have one son who just ventured off to college and another who is experiencing the exciting yet challenging final year of high school.

Why Senior Photography?

Senior photography is particularly meaningful to me because it represents a pivotal moment, both for the students and their families. It's a time filled with transitions, expectations, and dreams for the future. Capturing these moments allows me to not only document the achievements but also to celebrate the unique journey of each individual. Sonia Greenaway Mickle is a senior photographer and portrait photographer based out of Fort Washington Maryland and Northern Virginia and serves the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area.
